The Hudson Police Department and Hudson Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Bureau are partnering with local retailers to prevent and combat organized retail theft and fraud by participating in a proactive regional initiative with the Twin Cities Organized Retail Crime Association (TCORCA). As part of that initiative, we would like to invite all interested businesses to attend a social hour/training class being hosted by the Hudson Police Department and the Hudson Area Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday, July 25th at 10:00am at the Hudson Police Department, located at 101 Vine Street.
There is no cost to attend and the benefit to your organization is the ability to network with other local businesses and learn valuable information about how you and your business can dramatically minimize your chances of being a victim of organized retail theft and fraud groups. In addition, attendance allows us to gather up contact information for our local businesses so that if a crime that potentially impacts your group becomes known, the Hudson Police Department can send an email blast out to all of you via the Twin Cities Organized Retail Crime Association alerts.
We look forward to partnering with you to keep our retail areas safe, protect our citizens from falling victim to identity theft, and protect your company from loss.
You can register for the training through the Hudson Area Chamber website or the Hudson Police Department’s Facebook page.
